Filippo Piranomonte - High Performance Coach

Originally from Italy, I was ranked among the top 10 in the country in the Under 14 category and top 15 in the Under 16 division. During my junior career, I had the privilege of training alongside world-class players such as Jannik Sinner, Mattia Bellucci, Lorenzo Musetti, Matteo Arnaldi, and many others.
I achieved notable results on the international stage, reaching the doubles final in a Tennis Europe Under 14 event. I also competed in prestigious tournaments such as the Under 14 Torneo Avvenire in Milan (Tennis Europe) and the Under 18 ITF Bonfiglio, both of which have a rich history of showcasing future top professionals.
Seeking to further my tennis and academic journey, I played collegiate tennis for Northwest Missouri State University, one of the top-ranked programs in NCAA Division II, reaching as high as #3 in the nation. In 2021, our team won both the Conference Tournament and the Regional Tournament, earning a spot in the National Tournament, where only the top eight teams in the country competed.
I am very proud to be part of the coaching team at Thoreau, where I am dedicated to helping players improve their game and reach their full potential.
