Tim Whitehead has been a Certified Professional with the Professional Tennis Registry since 2001. During this time, he has achieved a PTR Professional(5A) rating by way of accumulating over 627 hours of continuing education. Some major events include attendee of the PTR International Tennis Symposium (Hilton Head Island, SC) in 2001, 2003-2006, 2009, 2012 & 2018.

In his research for further knowledge and expertise as a coach, Tim has dedicated himself to understanding the correlation and link between Sport Psychology and Performance during competition. In 2008, Tim graduated from The Professional School of Sports Psychology for Peak Performance through Ashworth University. 1 month after graduation, he was elected to the International Honor Society (Delta Epsilon Tau) for his academic achievements and commitment to the Sports Psychology field. In the following year of January 2009, Tim continued his relentless pursuit of study and research in the Sports Psychology field as he became a Certified MGCP (Mental Game Coaching Professional) through Peak Performance Sports. Here he dedicated over 100 hours of extensive case study and research which took place both on and off the court with his students. Since then, Tim has worked with numerous athletes and teams of all ages around the United States to help them achieve success by identifying barriers and learning the proper process to break through them.
PLAYING EXPERIENCE: 2011: #3 Ranking- Men’s Open Division Southern/Georgia. 2003: #1 Ranking: Men’s 4.5 Division(standing) New England. Top 20 ranking as a junior in New England.

HOBBIES: Love to read, ski, workout, hit the beach, play tennis (of course!), and most of all spend time with my wife, daughter, molly-my pup, and family.
